Divine Authority
I'm lost in the rain once again,
Wish I would of chose the right path's,
To follow your steps,
And be who you want me to be.
At sunrise a new day begins,
A new beginning somewhere in my life,
Sometimes it seems I'm in denial,
Yet I want to focus on you.
At sunset I feel guilty the day passed so fast,
And I haven't changed a thing,
The sorrow, the pain, an the thoughts,
Is killing me inside,
My best thoughts still leads me to your paths.
Wish I could of follow,
The paths that you made for me,
Without falling down on my head,
And without looking back at the past.
Remembering how the pain felt,
Falling back somewhere that I don't belong,
Thinking about things that,
I promised you I wouldn't do,
But temptation got in my way,?
And that's where everything fall apart.
I guess I'm not perfect in your eyes,
And I don't know everything,
But I'm gonna take my time,
And learn more about you, God.
