Distant Things

As setting sun and last refrain of song. my life but one melodious lost note. In retrospect, the journey not so long, those distant things now seem much less remote. In life so fleeting, time now to prolong, filled with lines to write, never to be wrote. Farewell tomorrows veiled expectation, for distant things whisper for salvation. Very nice write. Sad and introspective. Hadn't seen that form yet. It worked really well.

Hi Tom , thanks for the read and supportive comment on this effort. I enjoyed this form, it's written in iambic pentameter and the rhyme scheme is pleasant. I may revisit this form more in the future.
