'disentangle Yourself'

Wake up and realize That you are too hard on yourself Do you know how many people make mistakes every day? Do you know that they don’t cart That burdens with them all their lives? You are permitted to choose wrong You are permitted to try again You were never shaped to be perfect If we knew all the conundrums before we came across them How would we be able to grow and learn? You are on a different path Don’t compare your footsteps With those who went before you Or even those walking next to you They have their own issues Our paths might be connected at times But no one’s journey is ever the same Why not forgive yourself for the faults of yesteryear You are the only one who are keeping track Of things that cannot be undone
