Dinosaurs Are Seen Only In Muesems
Veterans still standing, and some with wheels, only seen in parades. Monuments abound, all around town. What can be down, to lessen their number? What are the leaders and those who approve the money, doing to stop needless wars and occupation, can’t they focus on something more important, then re-elections, and time in the closet with their honey? Veterans fallen, buried and forgotten, so many White markers at Arlington, were gong ho at the beginning, attitudes quickly turned to wonderment. Why am I spilling blood in a foreign land. Am I a policeman, or a soldier sent to take a stand. Doing what I was trained to do, not spilling blood in the sand. Are the policy makers, putting their sons and daughters in harms way? Thinking twice about committing their assets to the fray. Probably not but I could be wrong, probably stay that way. Until leaders of the world pay some price, with veterans lives they will roll the dice.
