Dear Brother
My dear brother, why do you tear me down?
I love you so but in your criticism I drown.
I try to live up to your masterful ways
but never do I receive any praise.
A sonnet, a limerick it matters not
for in your vices I'm always caught.
What must I do to earn your respect?
My efforts you seem to always reject.
Must I always be under your wing?
A little praise would make my heart sing.
