Daffodils
I walked along a woodland trail
Alone in grey reflective mood
Thinking about my life’s sad tale.
When joyous gold adorned the land
With fresh daffodils fast dying.
Their fragile green are nature’s command:
Let life grow like fertile flowers
Harvest your hopes in spring showers
Let this full-blossom in your life
Our Verse freeing your soul from strife
Let imagination in you grow
Love poetry and reap what you sow
