Crush
Walking in to school,
not even bothering to be 'cool'
Glancing to your right,
the world seems to get more bright.
And there he sits.
Dark, shaggy hair,
swaying in his chair.
pulling out a peice of gum,
wondering if he'll think your dumb.
Offering it to him.
his eyes meet yours,
filing you to the brim.
He smiles,
Blushing,
and you melt.
Heart jumping.
Pulse racing.
giddy with joy.
His words seldom heard,
but for that your feelings stirred.
he smiles and looks away,
my heart begins to fray.
Before the bell tolls,
a small ball of paper rolls,
to my hand.
I look up to see him blushing,
I feel my mind rushing.
Opening the note
wondering what he wrote.
