Crickets

Just a word against acrimony the key is really this, you see don’t let the bully rule by reacting to their hideous drool turn the intentional blind eye away from their taunting cries without “attention” they fizzle out vitriol dries upon the spout take the “high road”, it can be done quickly the crickets will come thus returning to how it was flavorful soup, just because… this how it’s supposed to be kind poems to share between you and me… …peace out! 12/18/2021

Yes it can be done. It should be done. It needs to be done. It is disappointing to hear this is happening. Not engaging is only way as it is better that they change or leave of own accord. Outside of the soup the problem is the media who give attention to sensationalism. Also the crickets outnumber the Preying Mantis, at least on the soup. Well penned, timely and important piece. take care and may 2022 bring you many blessings. David in NZ

Thank you, David, for your thoughtful response. I would like to see the soup be a place of civil discourse, creative sharing and encouragement. May you also have a blessed New Year! :)

Laura, I like your proposed strategy. The trouble makers who like to see the pot stirred and the acrimony volleyed both ways will just get bored with the silence. If we collectively reported their rudeness to PS but refused to engage with rancor, maybe they would go elsewhere, or be removed. Let's join make this a place of positive support and civil discourse. Hugs ~ John
