Covid19 Vaccinations

Many of we oldsters have already received the covid19 vaccination. Soon all who want it will receive the shot in states across the nation. Yet, TV news keeps needlin' us showin' 12 inch needles pokin' the shoulder joint! You would think by now that we should've all received the "point"!

Hi Bob I also think that needle is far too long, well said - did you get any after effects? we have registered and on record for having our injection anytime in May or June - it seems that been over 60 does have its advantages! Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

LOL The needles are huge and the dose of vaccine small. This is really funny, Bob! Have you seen the size of the Q-tips used to test for Covid? I think they're longer than the needles. Hope this pandemic will end soon. Enjoyed your witty verse! Hugs, Carolyn

Glad you liked, Ilene. Also have both of mine with no after effects. And yes my kind neighbor shovels my drive and sidewalk. To thank them I give them a gift card to local eateries during the snow season. Hopefully things will "normalize" soon. Stay safe - Bob

Still waiting for our jab here in western australia, Bob, although we only had a lock down for one week, in the entire period so far...but must not get complacent. Like the poem, it sure does get s to the point. Keep safe, Harry

good one Robert, it seems to be working here with less 'oldies' getting the virus but its been rampant in the 5 - 19 yr olds, lockdown extended here till 31st march at the earliest. perhaps getting older does have its benefits not that hubby nor i have had jabs yet, he needs it more than i do with his health issues!!:-) hugs jan xx
