Oh Laura, such a a beautiful haiku! What a joy hearing from you. Yes, its been a crazy year full of complications - we still have not moved, unable to sell our house so far. A big ugly pod sitting in our driveway (maybe that's why!) anyway - Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and yours and all the best in the new year. Miss you so much - you are such a joy to know. Thanks from my heart for thinking of me. Brought a warm smile inside and out. hugs & love, shar xoxo

Hi, Laura! How are you doing, today? Summer is almost gone, and I already miss the feeling of being in a cool forest. Your words describe the scene perfectly...the forest is the ideal place to rest the mind away from the urban noise. Well-written and inspiring. Good luck in the contest. Thanks for sharing it with me. Love, Andrew.
