Come and Find Me In My Solitude

If you are wondering where I am When I am in my happiest place You will find me in my recliner With a smile on my face A cup of coffee on my side table IPad lying on a pillow in my lap Facebook and the Internet And poetry sites to tap Outside the windows I can see All kinds of birds feeding on seed One or two squirrels are in it too Hungrily getting what they need One Pomeranian cuddled by my leg Two Vizslas lying at my feet on the floor Technology and nature watch and pets How could I possibly ask for more? You may say I am not alone Because dogs are company But they don't interrupt or Ask me to turn on the TV

Thank you so much for your flattering review. Yes, I wrote it long ago and it was actually a reminder when I read it that I had written it. I will read some of your poetry because I think we kind of think alike.

Hello Janet, am new to the Soup. Found your name associated online with Greek poets. I really like this poem. Well written and a mirror of my life.. I see you wrote it a few years back. Still, an excellent read. Thank you. Panagiota Romios
