Colors of War
A cause for war, not black and white,
humanities answer, is to fight.
From times beginning, right from the start,
death and killing, by blackened hearts.
Under skies of blue, the carnage red,
green light was given, go make them dead.
The golden rule, just doesn't matter,
pain to cause, lives to shatter.
Settle scores, by bullets brass,
or lavender fields, of calm at last.
The gray debris, of wars we dread,
embrace the gold, of peace instead!
