Color of My Heart
As you wander through the dawning daylight
casting out the shadows off nights own shore
you may observe her nature's creed in flight
look but don't touch, she'll love you all the more
if you find a deer panting by the lake
or spot a rabbit as he scurries by
proceed to enjoy the gift of daybreak
observe it from afar, the El Shaddai
when finally you spot her, by the sea
the wisp of blond the glint of amber eye
that linen dress that lifts in windy spree
inhale the perfume of her being, sigh
Don't clip her wings, or she will surely cave
just give her love and be a faithful stave .
