Cloudy Clarity
There is a mirror that tells no lies.
But after time the past truth dies.
With each new day the story's told.
The cards get dealt, you try not to fold.
You remember things in your own mind.
And realize others don't agree in kind.
The heart get's broke and left alone.
The song's still sweet, but has a different tone.
What is the answer to what's now unknown?
She's no longer there to talk on the phone.
What can I now do to figure it out.
What was absolute is now filled with doubt.
The road down the road has thrown me a curve.
Somehow with my youth I've lost all my nerve.
The sun will come out, for that I am sure.
But also the clouds to make things a blur.
