Cell Phone Blues
Out on the water,
Sun beating down,
Sitting in his kayak,
No need to frown.
Pulled out his cell phone,
To place a quick call,
Laid it down beside him,
Not thinking it could fall.
He stood in the kayak,
To grab a cold drink.
The phone took a tumble,
In shock he watched it sink.
CHORUS:
He's got the cell phone blues,
No calls coming through.
Can't believe that its true,
Whatever will he do?
He's got the cell phone blues.
He tried to retrieve it,
But the water was deep;
Too murky to see clearly,
He wanted to weep.
He searched and he searched,
But it was in vain.
All his contacts and photos,
Were gone! What a pain!
CHORUS:
He's got the cell phone blues,
No calls coming through.
Can't believe that its true,
Whatever will he do?
He's got the cell phone blues.
