Celebrating the Season
With joyous season drawing near and holly boughs hung with delight, we celebrate this time of year. A festive feast of fun and cheer, our decorations shining bright with joyous season drawing near. With carols sung for all to hear, and candles glowing soft and white, we celebrate this time of year. We share our love with those held dear, and gather ‘round the soft fire light with joyous season drawing near. The night is still as stars appear, and in the East one draws our sight; we celebrate this time of year the precious Gift which we revere sent long ago on cold dark night. With joyous season drawing near we celebrate this time of year.

Thanks, Tom, I appreciate it. This Christmas will be a little more quiet than Christmases past but there's hope on the horizon. Merry Christmas to you and yours. John

A lovely portrait of Christmas celebrated in communities throughout the world, John. You work well in the Villanelle form! On December 21, you may see a different kind of Christmas star. Jupiter and Saturn will be close and from Earth they will look like a double star. Have a merry Christmas with your family, John! Best wishes, Carolyn

Thank you so much, Carolyn, I appreciate your thoughts and comments. Yes, the "great conjunction" on December 21st, my brother is an amateur astronomer and has a high powered telescope with a camera attached. Hopefully he will get some good pictures. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Hugs, John

"We share our love with those held dear" This thought touches my heart and it holds so much truth. My eyes are misty, in a good way. This is beautiful and tender, all at the same time. Many wonderful blessings to you and yours, as you "Celebrate the Season" Hugs, Brandy
