My nights are long until you appear when I'm sleeping You, the catcher I entrust with my heart for safekeeping The handsome vision of the man I imagine in my poetry On page after page I write of your love and a life with me I feared never finding reality with you unless I dreamed til your knock on my door made love as real as it seemed

a beautiful write, dearest Lin. Your words were tender as you captured the anticipation and longing for true love. Grateful someone knocked on your door and made love as real as you envisioned it. You deserve that! Lovely romance poem, Lin! Have a splendid evening, hugs, Sara

Thank you, dear Sara. You have a glimpse from behind me when I open my door. We never know when happiness will arrive but should be ready to open that door. Hugs.

Dearest Lin, I just loved how your poem beautifully captures the longing and anticipation of love. The imagery of entrusting your heart to a dream catcher is both tender and evocative. The poetic words convey a sense of hope and longing, culminating in the realization of love's reality. Lin, this is a heartfelt expression of romance and yearning. - Blessings, Daniel

Hi Daniel. I'm pleased that you liked this one. Sometimes it happens that love comes knocking when you aren't expecting it. Open the door or not... ? I don't ever want to live with 'what ifs.' Thank you ever so much for leaving your artful insight in such kind thoughts.

So dreams can come through after all Lin, another very imaginative poem, we can bring anything to life with our pen, or (as real as it seemed) creative writing, cheers David

But how would you know who to do away with? unless you kill em all, besides it’s your dream and you can do whatever you want:)

Yes, they can. I once had a dream... a fantasy actually. It came true and turned into a nightmare. Perhaps I should use my pen as a sword in some of my dreams and do away with the culprits, ;-) Thanks, David.

Thank you, Anne-Lise. We wake from the good ones too soon and from the nightmares not soon enough.
