Breathe Anew

The last thing I remember since the day our love began was thinking what they say of love was really just a sham. A fantasy we want to be that helps us to get by, steeped in its illusions by how well we live the lie. Hoping still I'd someday find the perfect one for me, who understood my thoughts and dreams and who I want to be, one dawning day we said hello and recognized a change, mirrors of a kindred soul so comfortingly strange. As though we both knew right away our paths were meant to cross, we started telling secrets sharing pain we knew of loss. Noticing new things we feel with never more to say, the more we sought to share our time the more I hoped you'd stay. All I knew of happiness had somehow been reborn, shedding veils of life's regret brought feelings deep and warm. What it means to live had changed I knew I'd found the one, as if again to breathe anew as life had just begun. The last thing I remember since the day our love began was thinking what they say of love was really just a sham. Now I know a lovers glow is more than fantasy, It's everything I ever hoped and dreamed true love would be. - Jeannie Minor

I've never read anyone who can express their feelings so beautifully. This is heartfelt honesty. Super penning! I am impressed, Jeannie:) However, I do know of your incomparable talent. Be well.
