Bless the Beast
"bless the beast"
bless the beast who is helpless
small alone and defenseless
waiting to be loved
bless the beast who is hurting
who believes life is unrewarding
wanting to be loved
they wander gently and cool
they live by a golden rule
bless the child who sees the frail
lending a hand for others to sail
wanting to be seen
bless the child who feels other pain
who supports and steps out of his lane
waiting to be seen
they know nothing of an evil sin
they live with innocence built in
bless the best who enhances life
chosen to help the child with strife
who is quietly unloved and unseen
