A longing for someone who shows little interest, you don't want to dwell on it but you do. I sense the pain in this one Lin. Tom

There's more than once scenario for circumstances such as this. Pain eventually lessens. Thanks a lot, Tom.

I like it, Kin. Tell it like it is. Write On, my friend! Bill

fascinating Monoku, Lin. Not sure what you intended exactly, but history tells me that loving someone not yours will always cause bittersweet weeping....thinking out loud. :-)

It usually does for someone, Sara. Telling the heart "no" is useless. It does what it wants and holds us hostage. Thanks, as always for your gracious remarks.

Intriguing Monoku! On the face of it I see a fantasy/romance here Lin, one perhaps the author is reluctant to repeat, but of course could mean many other things, thought provoking nonetheless, cheers David

It's all about perspective. It could be admonishment of a heart or meant for those who would be Queen/King Mind Your Business. Provoked your thought to comment, so thanks, David.

Whoa!! Those sordid affairs can go south fast or slow or in slow motion. I enjoyed reading this one. This is only one way to interpret this one. Thank you for sharing. Sara K

Thanks, Sara. Authored with only one interpretation, but open to anyone's notion, including those who think they comprehend, but don't.
