Being Kind, the Andaree
On malice toward some, and charity gone;
Hate words hurled, like ruined sauvignon.
Some, feeling like bitter rind,
have an axe to grind.
Can’t we be
kind?
Would it be
out of style, or mind?
Stretch a hand, be not unkind;
Let not the sun rise, nor there be dawn,
on malice toward some, and charity gone.
