Before the Hurricane We Are Neighbor's

Before the hurricane, even though we are neighbor's we pass each other by both of us in our own world busily trying to survive. When we speak it is in passing, with short waves Before the hurricane, we are neighbor's we all want the same things for our family's a good and safe place for our children to thrive and grow, good food to put on the table, affordable health care, to make a good living wage. "Is that asking for to much" Even though we are many colors of the rainbow, we as a people want the same things for our family's. When the hurricane hits we come together to help each other, we hug and show compassion and look out for each others needs, we are neighbor's. If we as a people can come together in a time of crisis, and if we can carry that into our daily lives, what a wonderful world it would be. We are many colors of the rainbow, each of us with our own thoughts it is okay to disagree, it is okay not to take every word as gospel, it is okay for we are human beings and we make mistakes, it is okay for we learn from our mistakes. Before the hurricane, we are neighbor's one love, one world, many colors of the rainbow. Before the hurricane we are neighbor's
