Beauty Illuminate
Absorbed, every morn' I cleanse my
Eyes in your Pre-Raphaelite beauty,
Your fragile lily white skin exposed,
Elongated lines, curved forms smile,
Aloft you hold the unlit gilded torch,
Unkissed, velvet chocolate lips pout,
Adorned in the corners, sunlit room ,
A sad beauty transfixed , for all time.
The perfection of joy without breath
And yet without breath I see no joy.
The day beckons the impending night.
As you illuminate the darkened room .
