Barney and Bill walked up a hill
With buckets they needed to fill
The well had gone dry
They thought they might die
Until they discovered the still
They both reach down and grabbed a jug
Sat down on the ground on a rug
Then returned to town
And told what they’d found
The people all gave them a hug
The rug was really too furry
The moonshine made their eyes blurry
When you hide a still
From Barney and Bill
Take your time, don’t get in a hurry
