Balance
The road of life from birth to death
will pause at places tragic,
but remember times that took your breath
and those that glowed with magic!
Those tragic stops are just to balance
good cards that you drew.
Remember there's still time to dance
before the song is through!
So pay your fines, but drink the wines,
and sail toward calmer waters.
Then's the time to clear your mind,
and cherish sons and daughters.
Life is good, forget the length,
though your state of mind is worn.
Never pray for ease, but strength
to weather rugged storms...
