Baggage In Our Bones
“Never trust people who tell you their lives
are always beautiful……” – Unknown
There are tensions and strife that are normally swept under our skins,
as we smile to the world. We wear dark glasses, weekend smiles,
and a loud personality.
It takes only one intuitive question to our state of mind,
to unclothe our stage traits,
and reveal the brokenness and scars within us.
We cry, scream, and throw away anything close to us.
It takes a brave soul to stand in the middle of a park or street
and shout “I’m not okay”, “nothing makes sense”,
“I need a hug…..”
