Back Burner Woman Blues

I've got a back burner woman and I know you'd never understand. I've got a back burner woman and I know you'd never understand. Oh you know I love you, woman, but I've got a back burner woman, just in case you stray away. I've got a back burner woman and I know you'd never understand. (repeat) She's there to understand me, when you and I don't see eye to eye. I'm there for her when her man just treats her so bad. I've got a back burner woman and I know you'd never understand. (repeat) She welcomes me in when your door is shut and my clothes are thrown out in the yard. You know I love you, woman, but you just don't seem to care if I come or go. (repeat) You see, the thing that troubles me, woman, is if you got a back burner man!
