Autumn Forest
Cathedral woods.
Sunlight streams
through stained glass windows—
mosaic of yellow and red.
Tree pillars
hold up the sky dome,
wind organ whispers.
Orange and crimson,
sassafras and sumac
light the path.
On the altar in my heart
the chalice
overflows.
