Autumn Constanza
A Constanza in dedication to Connie Marcum Wong
Her pensive soul was caught awhile
sailing on the whispering breeze
that spoke life's secrets in the trees.
She thought of all her Earthly trials,
yet not forsaken in their midst -
embraced by all good fortune kissed.
The journey long, across the miles,
to where the islands hugged the sea
and all of love and family.
And as the Autumn scents beguiled,
her heart sailed where the palm trees sway
and gently swept her heart away.
Into the "Light" - a glowing smile
consoled the hearts now left behind
where memories and souls entwined.
Her pensive soul was caught awhile -
She thought of all her Earthly trials.
The journey long, across the miles
And as the Autumn scents beguiled,
Into the "Light", a glowing smile.
