Astray

I hate to look in the mirror Afraid to see the truth My conscience isn't clear I play fast and loose I know I changed my identity When I was chasing my dreams My face expresses serenity When I fall into sins I want to see old Alice Just look into her eyes To know what made her callous First place is her cash prize I've used to be so cruel 'cause I have learned one phrase If you desire something Dog eat dog is your praise You know I want to win You're sure I'll never lose Forget about the values Forget about the rules Suppose, I'm double-faced I was good, but that's bad Old Alice knows the secrets I wish I could forget

This is great Alisa! The meaning and imagery are portrayed beautifully in your rhyme.

In the world, we live in today... It is difficult to say, this is the way or that is... We each have to find our way...You said it's a dog eat dog affair...You're not wrong...All the best Alisa...Nice to see you back
