Animal House
ANIMAL HOUSE
Oh, give me a home
Where the beasties roam
Where dogs on the couches play
Where the kitties explode
With needled claws showed
And Scatter the rugs each day
Where the gerbils dig in
To demand feeding again
By squeaking a very loud wheel
And scratch on their glass
Without very much class
Until they obtain their meal
From couch and chair
I vacuum the hair
With which the furniture’s lined
I love them all dearly
Although they nearly
Drive me out of my mind
The Terrier needs clipping
The kitty pan’s dripping
The Shephard’s in heat again
The gerbils’ bedding
To the floor is spreading
My chores are about to begin
But they’re all worthwhile
They make me smile
The kitties cuddle so sweet
The Terrier plays ball
The Shephard guards all
And the gerbils have tickly-cute feet!
