Way on up in the north country fair The one you may know from the song We made love on a starry night How quickly that moment was gone On a covered wooden bridge Built more than a century ago Our gaze kindled into a burning flame Oh but how could I know That the fire would consume our teenage souls And all the land for miles around Now I'm writing songs in the state pen While she's six feet underground April 14, 2017
