Amani
If i could change the direction of the world today....
I would start with the new parents
As they give births and fill the world
I would educate them on love and peace
So that they can teach their children so
Because charity begins at home
Thou some kids may end up making bad choices, they will always have this fundamental lesson embeded in them
Then i would move to the churches, the mosques, the schools and community centers
Leaving my posters there, with the same message of love
Different we are all, yet one we should be
No matter the background, the ethnicity or the religion
There will always be Ishmael and Isaac
Same father yet different views
But that can change, we can change it
I feel the only holy war there should be, should be the war against evil
And when i talk about evil, am not talking oil
Neither am i talking about land
Neither am i talking about gold and diamond
Neither am i talking about supremacy, white or black or yellow
You know what i mean
Our greediness, hate and oppression to each other is costing us the world
So lastly i would sit down with those fighting for peace
The united nations and the like
And build strategies to cure this catastrophe
In that group, i would expect to be sitting with a representative from each country of the world
So that the input would be diverse and not one sided
So that every man can be heard
So that every cry can be heard
Because sometimes it's those small cries that become big issue cries
