Am I Crazy
Am I crazy I might be I don’t mind
That’s been lost I don’t remember when
But here I am I don’t know why
But by the grace of God
Advice comes like a fire chasing me
But everyone has answers
They sound convincing like a politician
Most have answers from a faulty faucet
But here I am I don’t know why
But by the grace of God
Streets filled with busy shoppers laughing life is good
by a body more than one sleeping lost
on a sidewalk as their mattress not by choice
Busy shoppers arrive home concerned
something should be done
But by the grace of God
Am I crazy I might be I don’t mind
Jesus ate with the sinners and tax collectors
So many live to breathe looking for a dollar
To be like the busy shoppers laughing
Life is good when your mattress isn’t the sidewalk
But by the grace of God
