All I Can Offer Is

All I Can Offer Is to feel the beat of her faltering heart; to hear her fits of grief; to heed her voice of sorrow; to rail with her at life’s thief; to hold her candle in its flutter; to sit with her; not one word utter. ©Kathryn McLoughlin Collins December 12, 2012 dedicated to Holly.

The knowledge of knowing someone who cares is there when things are overwhelming is so life giving. A beautiful testimony of this fact.

What can one say at such a time? Gestures and a squeeze of a hand can speak volumes. Delicately rhymed with perfect word use. Love, Keith

oh Kathryn! ....your angst is heartbreaking. And you're right, in situations like these words seem inadequate. I feel for Holly and for those who can only imagine what she's going through knowing not what to do. I do wish for the sun to shine forth again. Stay strong.
