Ageless Ends

We wish for youth We wish for getting younger And to our dismay You see the prison You get locked in By the great laws Of society We wish to be an elder To get older And then by our disappointment You are held in shackles By understanding The price of living in this money driven world Now the youth Is believed to be that they are elderly Not realising The cost of deterioration You possess When growing Age is the number And stories can hold it But only for how long that's the question Even the immortals Has mortality It take a breath And you then just see dust of what once was there Like a rope How far will it go
