ABSTRACTION The black stripe With crossing red slashes Is not a chocolate cookie These are paint strokes Put on paper Representational things – perhaps But are they words? Given aura This could make them so A thousand word poem These strokes But no chocolate cookie Dave Austin

Gee, I was positive that I'd commented on this one before. Maybe the comment was too long and drawn out, then got deleted, or maybe I'd been delirious after eating too many cookies. You are a whiz at making others think! Keep well, love, Mikki

i've been looking at Kandinski and Jackson Pollock, so this is a kind of fun experiment. Thanks for the visit. Love, daver

Abstract art is not my forte, Dave. I keep clear from the guessing game...would rather know where I stand. A chocolate cookie makes more sense to me:) Regards // paul

Abstraction is probably easier in painting. I love Kandinski and Jackson Pollock, so thought I would try a little experiment. Thanks for the read. Love, daver

This one had me thinking Daver. I am not a fan of Abstract art unless it is done in my favorite colors. : )

As I have no means of putting up a colorful photo, I tried to write something with the least form. A work of many colors would have been better. Thanks, Connie for the perusal. Love, daver
