A Wisp of Mind

i recollect thoughts like shells as i walk along on the shores of time alone memories tumble like waves at dawn in remembrance of you i feel the mist of salty spray as it it runs down cheeks like tears of yesteryears now gone by i hear the wisp of wind fall like whispers of words unspoken the pounding waves in rhythm with my heart as my feet sink within the sand and i stand alone in my thoughts memories dissipating beyond the fog as the sun peaks above it all August 18, 2021 Writing Prompt, Oceans or Seas - Poetry Contest Sponsored by Constance La France

How poignant of the memories that beaches can bring, and love the glimmer of hope at the end, this should be a top winner~

Your poems have a enigmatic flair that is truly rare. So, gentle wispy and creatively alluring. Hugs and blessings my friend, Jennifer.

Pity my poems are not as beautiful as your. I can feel the emotion in this poem and admire the imagery. Well written. Hugs.

I hear the poignance of thoughts walking along shores of time. Sad and emotive in memories. Brilliantly executed, as always, Sandy.
