A Time I Belong
I took a time
One I could very much call my own
If not much I’ll find
That someplace to perhaps call my home
And I did not find it to be
This one place to only belong in dreams
Yet of places traveled to see
The many faces of people I’ve only seen
It takes all kinds of people to create this world
And it only has to be for a world to move on
Unlike the seas... if found were that many pearls
Have we humanities as vast as nature to belong?
Perhaps there were places I can sustain
Yet... along the way I’m to find myself changing
A forever time moving to never maintain
Have I dreams anew to another day’s reckoning?
Have I found that much?
To never want to find a place to call home
Did I take the time?
Haven’t I found a time to call my own?
