A Smile In a Dandelion Seed

~ I sent you a smile on a dandelion seed, gently it floated the air Hoping its touch would be what you need, coming from one who did care And as it danced close to your heart while you were drying a tear Know that it meant though we are apart, I will forever be near ~

What a delicate, yet simultaneously enduring image you've created: 'a smile on a dandelion seed,' so pregnant with meaning (sorry about the cliché there, ahem). Just gorgeous written, Chris. ~ Smiling away

Wow. So you are the one who sent that dandelion wish at me? I actually had one floating in front of me dancing... it touched my heart then floated slowly away. We have no dandelions left it was touching but not as touching as the beauty of your poem. ... this just wows me... it is amazing and beautiful ... you my friend have a wonderful soul ... hugs
