After a long time, my Muse is  returning. What I'm putting in now is material  I  wrote literallly 40  years or more ago, edited.

1. Rose petals open Blooming in my tall glass vase Warm red in Winter. Baby boy smiles wide Bouncing happy in his crib Joy beyond all bounds. Cold November rain Patters on the dead brown leaves - I'll stay home and sleep. Soft heaven her kiss. Chains my heart with her sweet touch. Smooth like ivory. Spots of green endure Until the hard frost stings, Then only cold white. On star-filled nights, The deep velvet shines Strewn with points of light.
