A Numb Mind
it seemed i was dreading what was to come,
i witnessed sin and yearned for redemption
my body aches, my mind totally NUMB;
my soul is but natural selection
fear locked with keys tossed in the autumn breeze,
i fall to my knees with mordancy spread-
i must cease this woe with strict guarantees,
allow my disease to bleed ruby red
i wear soft green skin, always craving more,
for one is never enough when you chase-
divide life into factions of one chore;
needing and feeding my craving for space
i seek what i sought without eyes to see-
hope to fight what I ought without debris
