A Nook and a Storybook
Oh what I would give for a Nook and a storybook.
Come with me and let's take a journey of that unseen.
Turn the pages so we can see, the look of those that adventure overtook.
Get lost in the magic, and see who you will be, hero? Or fiend?
I jump inside just to get away from the pressures of the everyday.
Now I am an Aztec queen and you must all bow down to me.
At least that's who I am today, in my own little place that leads me astray.
Take my hand and we'll venture off tonight, feel the freedom as we flee.
Oh what I would give for a Nook and a storybook.
But I am sure you know by now so I will just leave it at that.
I gave my soul to the words on the page, to provide the light for that Nook.
To be a different me, not stuck in a world known to be a bore, plain, flat.
