A Moment To Cherish

A Moment to Cherish It came without any connection. It bore some fruit, a celebration ? A pleasant moment came - and it went. It left without connection. No expressed affection. What does it mean ? This empty scene. A Moment to Cherish Left me hollow. Difficult to swallow. This hurt heart became the start of questions – why a tear filled eye ? Why feeling choke in my constricted throat ? Is it repulsion ? Is it unworthiness ? B. J. “A” 2 April 23rd 2015

I wish for this to be expanded more. There's so much to note here. Heartbreaking at a kiss goodbye.

but in these moments “ A Moment to Cherish ” I have to face “ Left me hollow. Difficult to swallow. ” especially when “ A pleasant moment came - and it went. It left without connection. No expressed affection. ” and of course it leaves one to wonder, to ponder, “ Is it repulsion ? Is it unworthiness ? ”. Of course the answer is, a young woman half my age needed something that was not me, youth . B. J. “A” 2 (( Bill . ))

Good morning Sami Al-khalili : Thank you Sami, for stopping by and thank you for “ I wish for this to be expanded more. ” thinking that I could extend expressing the feelings, the essence of this rhyme and yes it was “ Heartbreaking at a kiss goodbye. ” in October 2010, although it has never been goodbye, except for the closeness, the love (( if she ever truly loved me )) the affection and the passion. I still love her, still in love with her and so every time we are together all I felt, all I feel comes to the fore , wells up as I have “ A Moment to Cherish ”

Thank you Arthur Vaso : For the visit and your heart felt comment “ I cherished this creative poem!!!! ” Doesn’t it though ???, “ This makes us ponder on many levels!!!! ” but isn’t that just a part of the human journey for some of us ???, to question why the ones you loved and love, enter and depart without so much as a smidgen of what they freely give others, to a stranger. Of course the real question is why continue to give ?, to be there to satisfy their needs, their desires ( help with legal matters, be a companion on walks etc., etc., etc. ) . “ Love Sleeps, Never Dies ” What an epoch poem !!!, exposing the under belly of human nature, created by life’s adversities, and all that it takes to bring a man’s humanity back into his consciousness . Lovely in its poignant meaning, this write, sire. Hope this is just a product of your moments of reflection, and not some recent personal realization. A 7. Hugs and smiles from the isles! :)

Good morning Kim : Thank you Kim for the visit and comments on my stuff. Essondale, became Riverview Hospital for the Mind. I am involved with Arts Connect which is just one organization trying to preserve and promote it. I have written a script “ Good afternoon Fari, and Roger : Thoughts about the River View - Artistic expressions - for the Pendulum art gallery. I am going to submit the following to the Princess, after we do the tree walk next week and she has formed her own visions. I do not want this to influence that process, but give her some additional ideas after she has come to her own. This will also involve Jim Stacey, and Geoff Scotts, knowledge, talents and expertise .

There, investigates what was her life . Setting – Second canvas - of the trees, under which are all the unclaimed suitcases, opened and with each is the apparition of its owner looking at all that their lives amounted to. Second half of this canvas –these troubled spirits, realizing, with their suit cases wide open, they have been set free and so the the painting depicts them all drifting towards the heaven looking back – from above - at what ( River View ) had imprisoned their bodies and spirits for so many years. The movie aspect drifts back to the painting and painter as it fades out on a beautiful B. C. sun set . After thought – a painting of the Pendulum Gallery with all the exhibits on display ??? Wm. J. Atfield Jr. ( B. J. “A ” 2 ) In the City of Port Coquitlam B. C.This 19th day of April. In the year of our Lord 2015 ” that will become a part of an art display at the Pendulum Art Gallery in Vancouver early next year .

The idea !!! Setting – Painting number one, Jim and or Geoff are making a movie of Monika, painting a picture of a cell ( in colours commensurate with the patients frame of mind ) of a mental patient ( she in real life ) moving towards the bared window. On the floor is her suitcase . At the window ( she is a ghostly figure ) slipping through the bars . What the eye of the camera sees is not only the painter, the painting but what the painter sees . Setting - Painting number two, on the same canvas, we are now set up ( painter, painting, movie makers ) outside the building looking up at the window watching this ghostly image slip out of her physical and mental cell, drifts down to a tree where her suitcase lays open.

A Moment to Cherish “ Hope this is just a product of your moments of reflection, and not some recent personal realization. ”, Thank you for the thought Kim, but sad to say, this item is factual and up to the minute, which includes yesterday afternoon, as the Princess ( Monika ) was leaving our Arts Connect meeting, going up to and hugging the directors that I have introduced her to – in my attempt to promote her art – and then passing me by giving me a little pat on the forehead as if I was a little boy . If you read my reply to Catie Lindseys statement / question “ maybe it's more... ” you will see a truth that lies in “ A Moment to Cherish ” I have read your last two gems Kim, very interesting, as usual !!! Thank you Kim, for the “ A 7. Hugs and smiles from the isles! :) ” Bill . ( B. J. “A ” 2 )
