A Little Drama

A sudden wind ripples over the staid waters whipping around like a blustery drama queen flinging water droplets in its wake. Placid pigeons are suddenly stirred wild wings whir, along with excited coos as the midday sun smiles through the clouds. 5/10/2022

I love the line "whipping around like a blustery drama queen" in this little vignette of nature doing its thing. It seems your muse has come to visit you this month? Very happy for you, thanks for sharing your wonderful talents with us, Laura. Warmly ~ John

Thank you, John! My muse comes in fits and starts, but I’m always glad when it return (though less often than I like!)

Oh, I love the idea of the wind as a drama queen! What a great metaphor! It has been very windy where I live recently, and it's bugging me! But, with that midday sun peeking through the clouds, there is hope for warmer weather to come. Enjoyed this positive piece.
