A Journey With Me
My id requests stress be addressed
A stony path I take to find
A place of peace to ease the mind
Not many tread or dare to try
To mount this mount high in the sky
Where clouds float by and eagles fly
But climb I must to reach my goal
With pen in hand and clutching scroll
My muse amused to bear my soul
For me, no longer in control
The summit reached on high at last
The body spent but heart recast
To ponder, wonder, think and ask
Alone with thought, in awe of peace
From here the world a masterpiece
The soul refreshed with testing quest
