A Happy Ending

And so another saga begins in a loving, aging extended family. We are all victims of cancer's proclivity. How could we have the temerity to assume otherwise and miss the nuance that is her speciality? Soon the marrow will have an aperture that will attest to blood results. A prelude to treatment. A treatment that leaves it's latest victim and us barren of joy and happiness. Our lives on hold again. Yet, just as one has survived, we pray so will the other. A happy ending.

HI Jean, nice to meet you, What a sad and happy poem all in one! i spent a night in hospital this last week with food poisoning and was in a bed between two women who had cancer but they were chirpy and full of hope. We became best friends! Poetry wishes, Jennifer.

I hope this has ended well, Jean, you and yours are in my prayers ... my mom is a survivor of both skin and breast cancer, my dad has skin cancer everywhere. This is a very touching write ... I miss you being "around", my friend. Blessings and love. <3

Cancer is so awful. I swear by Mangosteen Juice supplement to be helpful. I know 2 people just recently diagnosed. I hope there will be a happy ending. :)

Thank you Vijay. I'm still a little in shock. First my brother, now another brother's wife. It's so random. In Ireland we say "There but for the grace of God go I"
