A Girl Caresses Her Cat
A girl caresses her cat,
My darling, fair, and delicate,
She's deep in love, so thought her mew
The sweetest, kindest voice she ever knew.
Saying prayers, and crying, falling asleep,
A woman wakes with no fate to make a sudden leap,
Wherever she turns the smell of perfume lingers.
Combing the grey face with her fingers,
Praying the times can stop like this,
Clouds form with quiet-colorful mist
The daisy rises upon the golden rays;
The knows when daytime begins,
And her beauty measures out the days.
No lover was ever so bewitched
By such a girl's charm,
As her thoughts got so enriched,
Bound together with eyes closed
Feeling delicate and exhausted after sex,
When she was present, deep in my heart,
And our souls, we just knew, would never part.
Circumstances change and distance can be overwhelming
Behind closed doors, we create doubt and start blaming...
There are actions and mine I know for sure...
It feels so wrong, though intentions are pure
Pain gets impossible to bear.
Nothing left only a loud purr,
And life it's all so unfair,
You can't run away from yourself;
There's less passion with no place to hide
It hurts the heart and the pride,
Not having someone to hold and embrace so much
If only she knew how much I wanted to feel her touch.
I know I'm not what she needs,
The truth is my heart still bleeds
I'll just hide away all the thoughts and fears,
Sit alone wiping away those tears.
