A Father's Love
My Father's Day Poem
A Loving Father
We look back over the frantic years
at times, I gave you worry and tears!
There were the times it was just rough
sometimes it was for you so very tough!
Although there were the times, I felt alone
let me know me your heart was not of stone!
Trying to guide my mind right from wrong
seeking to help me find where I belong.
As I grew up teaching me how to react
I did not listen and let things distract.
You opened the door for me to explore
did your heart break as I shut the door!
Thank you, Father! It wasn’t easy to do
too tough for me to walk in your shoes.
If a son or daughter give your dad a hug
some fathers want more than just a shrug.
By tiptoe
