A Decision To Leave Town

I follow others in search of fortune, I've made a decision to leave town; many love this boy's eyes so brown: on his goodbye he whistles a sad tune! Oh, this town beneath the greenest hill, gave me birth and the strongest will; all I carry is a picture on my travels... remembering the youth of cheerful days! A decision to leave town isn't written anywhere, but the hardest one is made in a matter of seconds; living an empty life with needs isn't too pleasant... some become travelers for want, not for pleasure! Hands that wave farewell join the fluttering leaves of the surrounding hills and wish me good luck; ah, I have to give up what is precious to feelings... I hold inside hundreds of tears and try to smile back! A decision to leave town overwhelms mee in a moving way, starting all over seems a challenge with little or no promise; all one has built over time crumbles away and turns grey... the unknown scared me, what could I do: if not fantasize? Courageous and adventurous men go on a long and tiresome journey... where there's no set boundary; they stop and pause to reflect, then continue wishing themselves the best... what uplifts them is the divine word amen!
